Bišjiš, og yšur mun hlotnast
(Eftirfarandi bošskapur var lagšur mér į hjarta, og žar sem hann gęti örugglega nżst fleirum en mér žį skutla ég honum hér meš innį bloggiš):
It is high time that spiritual life ceases to be merely an intellectual conviction and becomes a living, practical reality for you.
Why, for instance, do you deprive yourself of the help and guidance which you can get from the unseen worlds? There are scores and scores of angels and other spiritual helpers that are eagerly awaiting for you to request of them whatever aid that is reasonable (i.e. which does not violate spiritual law).
And never imagine that you are distracting the angels from more important and pressing matters by asking them to help you, even with small details of your day-to-day life. The very being of the angels, their very essence (“dharma“ as the Indians would call it) is to aid and serve in any way they can, even down to tending to small and seemingly insignificant everyday matters in the life of you humans.
(But, as you know, the first rule of the spirit is that to obtain help you must ask for it. The angels and other benevolent beings of the invisible domain would never dream of interfering with your life by doing something which you didn“t request from them.)
Of course, there are instances when you must stand alone and unaided, but they are few indeed compared with the instances when help and succour from the subtler planes is very near and available, if you would only ask for it and accept it . . .
One final note: If you are among the many people who cannot relate to the idea of praying to God Him/Herself (since that is is telling the director of the universe how to do His/Her job, and furthermore seeing that He/She “knows your every need before you ask“ as it is stated somewhere in the Bible), it is surely easier for you to relate to the concept of praying to one of His/Her angels . . .
