Do what thou wilt

It does not at all matter very much what you do in life, as long as you do it sincerely, enthusiastically and whole-heartedly, without a tinge of guilt or remorse or the feeling that you really “ought“ to be doing something else (always provided, of course, that what you do inflicts no harm upon yourself nor upon other beings).

It“s the lack of sincerity, enthusiasm and whole-heartedness which more than anything bungles up what we attempt to do and renders our lives otiose and ineffectual.

If you cannot bring the aforementioned three qualities to bear on what you do, it would be far better to leave it alone and instead do something which you feel truly passionate about.

It may sound preposterous to you, dear reader, but the Universe will actually reward you for being yourself and doing only those things that verily inspire you and arouse your interest.
